School Council
It has been a long process this term in determining how our council would be elected, but we have made a democratic decision.
I am pleased to announce that duly elected to the position of the Bradford School Council for 2011 are:
Jeannie Corona
Liam Sapsford
Andrew Knight
Katelyn Dey
Abbey Pearson
Regan Masina
Ryan Hill
Jaidyn Barringer-Tairi
There were Year 5 students who applied also - Sarah Pask; Jacob Cheshire; Mya Rolton; Reyana Barringer-Tairi; Lynley Durham and Taylor Hodgins.
An election took place whereby the Year 4, 5 and 6 students voted to have a Year 6 only council or an election to elect some Y6 and some Y5 students. The 30/35 result was in favour of having a Year 6 only council this year with the Year 5 students being involved in Term 4 of this year and having automatic selection onto the council for 2012.
Well done to everyone involved and I look forward to working with you all over the course of the year.
The first meeting for the 2011 School Council is on Thursday 31 March at 12.30pm in the Library, please bring your lunch.
